Precious is fertile. Three babies last October and nine babies this May, poor girl! Let me tell you though, what a difference it is having the babies in the spring. These little critters run around all over the place and momma is not nearly as mean as she was last fall.
So far we have found homes for two of these babies, but I feel that rehoming the other seven is going to be quite a difficult task. They are all fairly sweet and calm once we can catch them, however, catching them has proven to be challenging. Right now I have two males in a dog crate since we were able to catch them and I hope that we can find them homes.
Since Corndog and his horny self has helped make all of these babies I have made an appointment for him to be neutered this Friday. I hope that he is not too difficult to wrangle and that all goes smoothly since I do not want any more piglets.
Jellybean will also be neutered Friday since he has started to show an interest in not only Lola, but also in his Momma, we most definitely do not need inbred donkeys.
