R.J.'s teacher took him to the Class County Humane Society after school this past Wednesday and from there he was able to choose three dogs that he would work to find homes. They took photos of the three dogs and he made sure he knew each of their names, how old they are, and what their personalities are like so that he would be able to come up with a flyer on them.
The photo and description above is of the first flyer that R.J. completed and two more are in the works. To say that I am proud of this boy would be an understatement. We are doing something at home that is slowly molding him into this amazing young man; we have part of this parenting thing figured out, it is the rest of it that is a bit of a challenge. Talk to me in seven years and we will see how confident I am in my parenting skills, but at least for now I know that we are raising a boy with a kind heart and good intentions.
