Jellybean Cupcake is becoming very friendly and curious. He will walk up to anyone in the family these days, other animals included, and allow them to get close. He enjoys a good ear rub and nuzzle in the mornings when I go out to feed the herd he has even joined Lola in an occasional "Hee Haw" to start the day.
I am the first to get up in the house and it is usually dark out. Not long after I turn on the light in the bathroom does I almost always hear a very loud, very insistent, "hee haw", from Lola. It is almost like a second alarm clock, because unless you are comatose it is hard to miss a "hee haw", it can wake you up from a deep sleep. As soon as I am able to make it outside I am greeted by more "hee haws" of anticipation until I am able to get the hay to the donkeys and satisfy Lola's appetite. Mornings are kind of nice because I get to see all the animals first and although they expect me to feed them, they are not demanding. My mornings are quiet and peaceful and give me time to enjoy all the sweet faces that rely on me to take care of them. All of this of course after Lola is fed. This really needs no explaining. He is just so stinking cute and I wanted a close up video of him. |
