It is almost like a second alarm clock, because unless you are comatose it is hard to miss a "hee haw", it can wake you up from a deep sleep.
As soon as I am able to make it outside I am greeted by more "hee haws" of anticipation until I am able to get the hay to the donkeys and satisfy Lola's appetite.
Mornings are kind of nice because I get to see all the animals first and although they expect me to feed them, they are not demanding. My mornings are quiet and peaceful and give me time to enjoy all the sweet faces that rely on me to take care of them. All of this of course after Lola is fed.
